THCA (tetrahydrocannabinolic acid) is a non-psychoactive compound found in hemp and cannabis plants. Hemp-derived THCA flower refers to the dried and cured flower of the hemp plant that contains high levels of THCA. Diamonds are a type of dab that are usually dabbed with terp sauce. Terp sauce is also a type of dab that is goopy and sticky and contains larger amounts of terpenes than other forms of dabs. Diamonds, without the terp sauce, are considered isolates because they are mainly made up of one cannabis compound. On their own, diamonds don't contain a lot of terpenes nor are very flavorful, hence why they are usually seen with terp sauce.
Live resin is a type of cannabis concentrate that’s created using fresh or flash-frozen plant material instead of dried, cured buds. The extraction method used to make live resin retains terpenes and cannabinoids, which leads to a more flavorful, aromatic, and potent vape product.
Usually, cannabis goes through several stages of processing before it becomes the products you know and love. Trimming, curing, drying, and extraction slowly chip away at the terpenes and other compounds found in the plant material. By the time the process is finished, the result might only have about half of the terpenes it did originally.
