CANNABIS STRAINS
Some cannabis plants grow short and stocky, while others stretch tall and lean. The biological differences that cause this variation also separates cannabis into a few categories, or “strain types.” Indica strains are known for being relaxing, while sativas provide uplifting and energizing benefits. Meanwhile, hybrids give you the best of both worlds.
Visit our strain library to get to know the best indicas, hybrids, and sativas for your needs.
CBD, short for cannabidiol (can-a-bid-i-ol), is a type of chemical compound called a cannabinoid. It is found in hemp (which is a version of the cannabis plant), along with over a hundred other cannabinoids, terpenes, flavonoids, and other compounds.
It's a naturally occurring substance that's used in products like oils, topicals, capsules, and edibles. Click here to listen to the pronunciation. Our human bodies contain an endocannabinoid system (ECS), and we use cannabinoids to maintain healthy cells. CBD works by triggering receptors in the endocannabinoid system (ECS). Many people use CBD for general health, anxiety, pain, depression, sleep, and more! According to a report from the World Health Organization, in humans, CBD exhibits no effects indicative of any abuse or dependence potential. There is no evidence of public health-related problems associated with the use of pure CBD.
Watch the video for a thorough rundown of the basics of CBD from The Green Dragon CBD co-owners Matthew and David.
There are well over 100 cannabinoids found in the cannabis plant, including many types of tetrahydrocannabinol (THC). All our products, like our THC flower, are federally legal because they come from the hemp version of cannabis, meaning they contain less than 0.3% of the “delta-9” version of THC by dry weight. It’s this percentage that draws the line between cannabis labeled as hemp versus that labeled as marijuana.
Though these products are hemp-derived products and aren’t technically marijuana products, that doesn’t mean they are less potent in terms of psychoactive effects and health benefits. Each form of THC has its own level of potency and unique health benefits. The potency and health benefits will also be different from person to person. Every individual's system is unique and therefore will react differently to different cannabinoids. Finding the correct THC product may take time for each person.
You know and love mushrooms as a tasty ingredient. Now, get ready to see how mushrooms (AKA shrooms) can take your wellness (and fun!) to the next level. When we reference “shrooms,” we’re specifically talking about medicinal mushrooms. These little fungi are packed full of beta-glucans and essential nutrients that help our minds and bodies function at their best.
For thousands of years, humans have hunted and cultivated mushrooms for their numerous health benefits. And some shrooms have another secret hidden up their sleeve: psychoactive ingredients that can cause a high, all without breaking the law.

Psychoactive Compounds
IDEAL FOR...
Kratom is an herbal supplement that’s known for its stimulating and sedating effects, which vary depending on the dose you consume. It’s often sold in the form of kratom powder, though capsules, beverages, and other products also exist. Its opioid-like effects help some people manage chronic pain, improve their mood, and boost energy levels without the same downsides that can accompany other options.
From delta-8 gummies and THCa edibles to homemade sweet treats, there are plenty of ways to indulge in cannabis and a delicious snack at the same time!
Edibles take longer to kick in but produce longer-lasting effects, making them ideal for managing ongoing symptoms related to chronic pain, anxiety, or insomnia. They are also a popular alternative to vapeable and smokeable cannabis since they deliver powerful effects without the risk of lung or throat irritation.
Cannabinoids are naturally occurring compounds found in cannabis plants, including both hemp and marijuana. These chemicals share a similar structure to compounds found in our bodies, known as endocannabinoids, that are responsible for triggering certain functions. Some endocannabinoids, for instance, bind with receptors in the brain and trigger the release of ghrelin, the hunger hormone, causing a spike in appetite.
Since cannabinoids are shaped much like endocannabinoids, they can bind to the same receptors, causing the bodily changes we associate with cannabis use. But different cannabinoids bind to receptors in unique ways, meaning that no two compounds produce the exact same effects.
Delta-8 THC
Delta-8 THC is chemically similar to CBD and delta-9 THC. In your endocannabinoid system (ECS) it binds to the CB1 receptor, just like delta-9-THC. This receptor is responsible for creating the psychoactive effects of THC. Delta-8 generally produces a clear, mental high and ability to concentrate without the paranoia or anxiety that many experience with marijuana. You also should receive the general health benefits of THC including body relaxation, appetite improvement, pain reduction, sleep improvement, and more.

Delta-9 THC
Delta-9 THC is the version of THC found in high concentrations in marijuana. It allows users to benefit from the health benefits of THC while also getting that foggy, intoxicating high. Depending on how much is used, it’s possible to experience paranoia or anxiety. This is the perfect product for people who enjoy marijuana but want a federally legal, chemically identical product. Because we don’t sell marijuana flower, our products include things like edibles that have already “decarbed” which normally occurs after exposure to heat.

Delta-10 THC
Delta-10 THC does provide the effects of THC including a psycho-active high. It has a long history of discovery and is known to be less powerful than delta-8 or delta-9 THC. It is a popular compound to blend with the other cannabinoids though because it has a naturally more energizing effect due to the way it binds to the CB1 receptors in our brains. If you’re looking for natural sativa effects blended with other THC versions, this is a great alternative.

Delta-11 THC
11-hydroxy-thc (Delta 11) is how your body processes an edible. Once THC is digested in your body, it turns into HXY11 THC. The Delta 11 THC chemical that’s present in THC is unlocked and made available in a vape form through a proprietary extraction process.

Delta-6 THC
Delta 6-THC, aka Delta 6a10a THC, aka D6a, and aka Delta-3 THC. Whatever you want to call it, this cannabinoid has the same molecular structure as D9, with a different way of how they are arranged.

HHC
HHC is a cannabinoid that is super similar to THC in its properties and its effects. A great analogy is that HHC is to THC as margarine is to butter. HHC can be found naturally in the seeds and pollen of hemp, but in such small quantities, it must be created synthetically by adding a hydrogen molecule to THC. HHC is much more resistant to improper storage or heat exposure than THC and CBD, earning it the title of the “apocalypse cannabinoid.”

THCa
THCa, or tetrahydrocannabinolic acid, is a precursor to THC. This cannabinoid is the most abundant non-psychoactive cannabinoid found in the cannabis plant.

THCp
THC-P is 30x more potent when binding to your CB1 receptors than traditional delta-9 THC, creating a more intense and intoxicating euphoric high. Like D9, the effects are more heavily influenced by terpenes than some other cannabinoids. Due to potency, you will most often see it combined with other THC’s, not stand-alone.

THC-V
THC-V is sometimes called “diet weed” and “weederall” for its purported appetite-curbing and energy-boosting properties. THCV is best used in combination with other THC compounds since it may reduce the intoxicating effects while providing an energy boost.

THCjd
THCjd, or tetrahydrocannabioctyl, is a naturally occurring minor cannabinoid that is known as being 19x stronger than traditional THC. THCjd is the most psychoactive compound to exist in the hemp plant. Anecdotally, THCjd produces a strong body high and couch-lock sensation that is similar to Indica strains. This high is said to last longer than other THC highs.

THCh
THCh (Tetrahydrocannabihexol) is a rare, but naturally-occurring cannabinoid found in the hemp plant. This cannabinoid is said to be 10x as potent as delta-9 THC. Because of its rarity, your body may not have a tolerance to it and it could present a new kind of high. Take it slow and establish your personal tolerance with this cannabinoid.

Your body’s endocannabinoid system (ECS) has two types of receptors, CB1 and CB2. CB1 receptors are found primarily in the nervous system, connective tissues, and many organs. The CB2 receptors are primarily in the immune system, bones, blood vessels, endocrine glands, and reproductive organs, to name a few.
Stress, diet, exercise routines, and other environmental factors that are part of our busy daily lives interfere with the ECS functioning properly. It needs help to rebalance. For many, using cannabis products helps calm the mind and body while eliminating symptoms like nausea or anxiety that can make it difficult to recharge

Δ8 THC
- THC with less anxiety or paranoia.
- Lack of affinity for CB1, so a less heavy head-high, fogginess, or anxiety
- All health effects as "traditional" D9 THC.
Δ9 THC
- Most popular THC molecule
- Known for its strong psychoactive euphoria and medicinal benefits
- The concentration of delta 9 in the cannabis sativa
THCa
- When smoked, it converts to Delta 9 THC
THC-P
- 30x+ more times more potent in binding to CB1 than D9 THC, creating a more intense and intoxicating euphoric high.
- Can have paranoia and anxiety, red-eye and other D9 effects.
LIQUID
DIAMONDS
- Liquid diamonds are a type of cannabis concentrate known for their purity and high THC content
LIVE RESIN
- Cut and freeze rich parts of the cannabis plant, getting the raw cannabinoids before they are exposed to heat.
- Improves quality and poency
LIVE ROSIN
- An all-natural extraction of the concentrated cannabinoids and terpenes found in hemp and cannabis using the slow, careful application of pressure and heat.
KIEF
- As the cannabis plant matures, its buds developreinous glands called trichomes, which contain THC, CBD, terpenes, and other compounds that contribute to cannabis' psychoactive effect and healing properties. Trichomes look like tiny crystals - think finely milled sugar or salt. When these trichomes dry and break of of the plant, they become kief.
