Calming
Energizing

Peanut Butter Breath, sometimes known simply as “Peanut Breath” or “Peanut Butter,” is a balanced hybrid cannabis strain. It’s made by crossing the famous Do-Si-Dos strain with Mendo Breath, which gives the strain its unique woodsy and nutty taste. This fan favorite was first created by ThugPug Genetics but has since made its way around the nation, sparking new crosses and phenotypes. But the classic Peanut Butter Breath never fails to impress with its intensely mellowing and soothing effects. Take a few tokes to send tingles through your whole body as you slip into a state of blissful relaxation, perfect for lounging on the couch with some snacks in hand. Get ready for the munchies and a long-lasting high that’s great at kicking unwanted symptoms related to chronic pain, stress, depression, or nausea to the curb.

Sounds like you had quite the experience! Smoking two bowls from a bong can definitely amp up the munchies. It might be the weed, it might be the food — either way, sounds like you're settling in for a cozy couch session. This strain is potent, so I'd recommend it more for experienced smokers who can handle its effects. Enjoy the ride!

This strain is so good, it inspired me to write my first-ever review. After smoking, I found myself doing the dishes, admiring my reflection in the mirror, and now making toast in the oven like I'm on a gourmet cooking show. It's given me a boost in confidence, some giggles, and a few yawns, but I've got the energy to tackle tasks. I feel it in my head, but it's all joy without any anxiety. Absolutely loving this strain!

Grow Info

Growing authentic Peanut Butter Breath seeds is a challenge since the strain’s breeder (ThugPug) tends to be pretty tight-lipped about its origins. Its rarity, coupled with its sensitivity to mold, makes this strain a difficult one for most growers to manage. Since it’s known to be more delicate than other strains, Peanut Butter Breath will likely do best indoors in a controlled environment.

While it may be easiest to grow indoors, this strain will likely produce higher yields outdoors. No matter what, expect purple and olive green nugs with thick layers of sticky trichomes.

FAQs

Is Peanut Butter Breath potent?

The Peanut Butter Breath strain has an average THC level of about 15-20%, which makes it a fairly potent option, particularly for beginners. Thanks to its strong terpene profile, the strain can produce intense effects like relaxation, euphoria, hunger, and a body high.

Is Peanut Butter Breath indica or sativa?

Peanut Butter Breath is a hybrid cannabis strain that’s believed to be 50% indica and 50% sativa. Despite this, its effects lean more toward what you would expect from an indica: relaxation, appetite stimulation, body tingles, and sleepiness are all common.

How much CBD is in Peanut Butter Breath?

Despite its higher THC levels, Peanut Butter Breath doesn’t typically have a CBD percentage of more than 1%. Still, its terpenes–including limonene–have been known to have anti-inflammatory and other therapeutic benefits that can mimic some of the effects of CBD.
